Submission for deadwords project; Deadwords was a project initiated by Karen To Nakada exploring both the craft of typography and lettering with the subject matter of 'dead words' words that are no longer in the common lexicon. I chose the word 'Historiaster' due to my fascination on studying the history of type and calligraphy, the subject matter gave me the permission to dive deeper into the subject.
Historiaster (n.)
"petty or contemptible historian," 1887, from historian with ending altered to -aster. Coined by W.E. Gladstone, in a review of J. Dunbar Ingram's "History of the Legislative Union of Great Britain and Ireland."
